So I've been looking all over the Internet for Instructions on making the Tall Floral Arrangement Centerpiece of my Dreams! I would Love to have a big Centerpiece set on a Tall Clear Glass Vase with a long strand of Orchids floating in the vase. I just can't justify spending $300-$500 PER Centerpiece. I'm paying for my entire wedding on my own, so I have no choice but to be Frugal! I do not have a Platinum Wedding Budget!-Too Bad! So I'm going to Order my flowers from an online wholesale floral company & do a trial run in a few months.

So I found a Series of Videos on YouTube.com with Step By Step Instructions (& general list of Supplies) On How to make a Tall Floral Arrangement WITH Floating Orchids in the Tall Glass Vase.

It was really annoying & Time Consuming to fit the Videos together in the right Order because they Did not put them in a particular Sequence when they posted it on youtube. The Videos are each pretty short & at times a bit confusing but you basically get the gist of it......

P.S.--Do you think it would work to substitute the type of flowers I would prefer to have at my wedding? Roses, Tulips, Carnations, etc...? Thanks for your input & I hope the videos help someone else out!

Oh Cool jjpeng I can't wait to see how yours turn out! Let me know if it's a lot harder than it looks! lol.

What kind of Flowers will you be using?? Lots of Roses?- like your inspiration pic??   That's similar to what I want too except either dark Red flowers, or all white flowers. (I'm Bi-Polar when it comes to my Color theme)

I want to use a lot of roses & fill the spaces with carnations & other flowers (haven't decided yet)

I'm Excited!!

I'll be doing my own centerpieces as well, but I'll be doing manzanita branches with red roses, HOWEVER, we did a mock up table, I've got over 19 months before the wedding so ya, lol...anyway, a good and not so expensive flower, that you can make look really pretty and full, are hydrangea, this site has the best deals on flowers!!! And I know that it comes highly recommended as the best online wholesale flower seller, lol, unless you're lucky, like me, and have a flower mart in your area.  I live in L.A., so I can go to downtown and hit the flower mart, but this is a great alternative to people who don't and who don't want to spend alot.

I'm DIY most of my wedding and trust me, I have champagne taste on a tall can of beer budget, lol....

this site is AWESOME for DIY-ers, like us =O)
