We have a light wood laminate floor and I am really wanting to do something in the brown/tan family. We also have a dark cherry entertainment center.

I found these at Home Depot and I can't decide which one to use on the living room walls. 

Warm Caramel

Gentle Fawn. 

I think I'm leaning towards the Caramel color, but honestly I can't make a decision.  Grrrr.  Please help!

I like both colours, but I think I would chose Gentle Fawn. I think it's a bit softer. It has a slight touch of pink.. do you know what I mean? But it also depends on the furniture and on the decorations you will have. It's really not an easy one, and I'm not a big help on that one...

Yes Olivia, you were!!! I actually took the paint card, put it up to the entertainment center and you were spot on!!!!  <3

I am feeling a little disorganized because I am working, etc mainly all in 2 rooms and picking the color was just an extra thing that my brain did not focus on.  I am most definitely not liking the reno today - everything is just all over the place.  We're almost there though, so hopefully this little "tude" that I had last night will be happy once again.  LOL

Yay Becca, I'm glad about that :-) Sometimes you just need to sleep over something and look at it again, and it clears up. I'm glad I could help a little.

I imagine that it is not easy to keep track of such a project, but I'm sure you'll do it and it will look just great once it's done! I'm really impressed by how you and your DH do this all by yourself, I couldn't do that.

Hi beccabride.  The Warm Caramel looks A LOT like what I have in my house.  It's a beautiful color and I love it but just keep in mind if you are applying two coats it does appear a little darker.  That being said I still love the color but I was a little surprised at how much darker it appeared after the second coat.

I love the Gentle Fawn too.  It is very soft!

Thank you so much for the input Nichole!!!  We have decided that we are going with the Fawn and then going to put a burgundy color on the bottom (sort of like a faux chair rail). 

You are more than welcome.  Good choice, I bet the chair rail is going to look amazing.  Put pictures up if you can when you have completed the project.

Oh ladies, thank you so much!  Guess what I got in an email today?  Lowes sent out their new color line and I fell in love with these.

DH and I are going to Lowes to see the actual strips in person and then make a decision, so we can paint over the weekend.  : )

Love all these colors, Becca! I like the "Withered Moss" color in the Lowe's collection...kind of similar to the Gentle Fawn color above. 

Thanks Deb!!! We ended up going with our original decision - Gentle Fawn and actually picked up the paint yesterday.  DH is sanding right now and I feel really bad because I'm out of commission for that, as I have bruised a tendon/ligament in my right wrist and icing/heating until it is time for priming. 

I am going to do whatever it takes to get the priming and painting done, with living room furniture back in the LR by tomorrow late afternoon.  : )  I've been taking pics and will be uploading this afternoon.
