I get my dress today 9-15-08!!!!!

I haven't seen it or tried it on once!!! I met with the dress maker right after I got engaged. Must of been Feb. or March?  Then she said to go get sized up in June.  I get to see the dress for the first time today!!  I've only gone over pictures on a magazine with her.  We kind of did a "I like the top from this dress and the bottom from this other one"  

I'm hoping she doesn't disapoint me since she did a great job on my other two sisters.  Only scary thing is.. She lives in Utah and I live in California.  She was in California back when she did my two Sisters gowns.  *Keep your fingers crossed for me!*  It will be my First time seeing the dress.. First fitting.  Last Fitting.

She will fly back into town with the finished alterations before my Wedding which is in 5 weeks!!!!!!!

Say a prayer girls. I need it!!!! I'm so afraid I'm not going to love it. How sad would that be?  Oh well.. here goes nothing.. 8 am California time. Think of your old friend Marina.  And Pray!!!!

All mursifal Father! I pray that your grace was with this woman while she put together the single most important gown of my life!!

I'll try to share pictures. If I like how they look.  After the engagement retreat pig out I just had for 3 days. I came home 5lbs heavier!!!!!

O.K ladies. I arrived to my dress... There it was on a manikin.....my jaw dropped...If it wasn't my dress.. Dear lord let me take that one home!!!!!!  It was my dress!!!!! I almost cried!!! The lady tweaked it left and right because what I had asked for was cool... But she thought some things could be changed and made a little different and better... I mother Effen Freaken LOVE IT!!!!! Ohh my God!!!!!!

How can "I" describe it???  When I saw it I thought..... Bare with me.. just my thoughts at what I saw...

Vintage, 1950's, grace kelly, old, classic, elegant, bomb, sooo not what people will be expecting of me.

And I put it on.. And I had my camera with me... and I forgot to take freaken pictures!!!! Because it was just me and the lady there!!!! !$#$#$!@#$~!@#   I don't get the dress today. She's flying it back to Utah and making some more changes that we both thought up. She'll fly back to California in October to give it back to me.  Sigh.   But I can not wait to put it on now.  

I felt so beautiful and classic and most important. For the first time in my life!!!!! I felt like a "Bride" something  I never felt at Davids Bridal.  Something I never thought I'd say. I was so afraid.

Custom made gown (to order) Plus custom made vail (to order) Garter.......$495   Silk Tafetta by the way.  Bomb!!!! I am on crack right now!!!  Thank you Lord Jesus!!!

Oh and she asked me to take my little Niece *flower girl* to her today. She's making her a custom dress to match mine. $40 !!!!! sorry what?????????????? hahahhahahhahahahha Crack kills. Stay off the stuff ladies.

Honey understand this... You put the dress on and the world just doesn't matter!!! LOL  I haven't seen my dress in the 8 months that I'd ordered it ago!!!!! LOL I called her and asked if it was still out to run and take pictures. For YOU LADIES!!!! LOL she said. No, I put it away because I'm flying out tonight. But I'm going to her house to get my Flower girl fitted.  Woo hoo for me!!!
