I was thinking that the BM could walk while the GM are already at the alter. Then when my man of honor walks out he could grab my mom and drag her out with him....lol, well you get the drift what do you guys think?and any other ideas??
LOL I think that's cute. I wanted a Man of Honor too, but over the past year our friendship changed. he gets along with my FI, but my FI feels it's his right to choose who his GM's are. Plus he has friends whom he's been bff's with since he was 2. I can't beat that!
I've seen this done and it didn't seem odd at all. I think its completely acceptable for your Man of Honor to "escort" your Mom. I think its great that you include those that are close to you and ignore the by-the-book traditions. Good for you!
I think that would be cute for your Man of Honor to escort your mom. I've always believed that you should have those that are close to you in the wedding, instead of just having "filler" people.
