So sorry to hear this Ash! This happened to me with the ceremony venue. The city of Taylor Parks and Recreation was over the site I wanted to get married at and then they closed the department and city hall took over. Do you have civic centers in Texas or a UAW hall? My reception was at a civic center and they are way cheaper than a hall. Just about every city here has one. We didn't need the full hall but Cale wanted it and it was 600 and held 180 guest. We got the bartendar so we paid 725 which is still a very excellent price. If we only used half the hall it would have only bee 300 and with the bartendar 80 more dollars. Check into that if you have anything like that. Wishing you luck and let us know how it turns out!
