Hi Ladies!
I’m back as a Mrs.!!! I know…it’s been a while. Sorry!
First of all, I would like to thank you all for all your help and support. I seriously don’t know what I had done without
you! I’m sooo glad it’s all over! Then it again, I miss it ‘cause I have nothing to plan! I guess I’ll start planning our baby shower for 2010! Lol.
Anyway, our day was amazing! Almost everything was perfect! Everyone had a great time and complimented our wedding. We’ve
been getting a lot of feed back as to how much our wedding reflected our personalities! Fun from ceremony to after hours! It was the vision I had all along! All my vendors & wedding party were fantastic it made our day a HIT! The only bad thing
was that it rained! So it threw off our photo schedule! Oh well, it’s suppose to be good luck!
Luckily I don’t have a lot of regrets. I just wished I didn’t procrastinate on a lot of things. It was just hard
working 2-3 jobs (both of us) and planning a wedding! Nothing important, I just didn’t do any menus and programs; I just had to let it go! No one noticed. Second thing, I changed my second centerpiece (5 arm, black iron candelabra) the week
before to match our theme and I forgot to buy more green pillar candles the week of, so my cousin and his partner (our ushers) raided Michaels and Target down the street and bought white candles and put the green in the center and white ones around! No
one noticed! Then when they were setting up the candles, the DJ tested our first dance song (Stay wit U – John Legend) & my ushers noticed it was the live version! They didn’t think it sounded right, so once again headed to Target to
buy the album! They were my heroes for the day! The last regret was that I didn’t have more time for pictures. During the planning process I was more concerned about our guests waiting around and didn’t think about it. To make up for it,
we’ll just dress up again and take pictures alone. Not sure, though.
Now married life is amazing! Ever since we woke up the day after and my DH saying “good morning my wife” was
amazing! We absolutely love spending time with each other! We have never lived together, we basically moved in the day after (my parents are traditional). It’s been great cleaning up and setting up together!
Since money was low after our 328 guest wedding, we decided on doing a 3-day mini-moon to Vegas with our “Money
Dance”. It was great just taking a long drive and just relax with my DH. We plan to go to Italy on our 1st wedding anniversary!
I’ll post pictures soon!
Cheers!
Claudia
