I simply have to.

I have been so down and so hard on myself lately.  I'm just stressing about school and life in general.  I am very famous for making myself feel bad.  Not even sure if I'm really venting to tell you the truth.  I'm just feeling very defeated.  I feel like I can do no right.  I'm in school right now and I feel like everything I do I don't do right.  Also that everything I think I did good in, I do terrible.  I am getting so hard on myself that I feel like I can't even do laundry right!  Ugh, I don't know.  I give up.  I need to shop or something.  Okay, I'm done.  I'm going to go cry and take a bath or something.

I'm so sorry you are feeling that way.  I know how it goes with school!  I always get down about it too!  I am definitely sure you are not doing terrible!  Start telling yourself positive things!

mcdaniel - I agree - it's nice to know we aren't alone. In some ways I think it's the "seasonal affective disorder" and just the change in weather and season..then I think it's the economy...and then I think it's work.....well..it's all just over whelming! I think the best we can both do is tackle each thing one at a time and try to do things we enjoy as MUCH as possible. *HUGS* again!

HUGS to you! If it makes you feel any better, I got told today that I didn't get the 2 jobs I interviewed for. I mean it was bad enough hearing about 1, but both!!!!

mcdaniel...nursing school right?  I felt the same way.  I would think...thank god I actually understand this atleast only to find out that the rationale was totally different.  Thi is the time to not know...KWIM?  We all felt that way and you will become more confident as time goes by.  One of my nursing professors said she ironically got her lowest score in labor/delivery portion of tests and that's what her passion is now!

As for life, you must know you're fabulous and there are lots that you do amazing...one on the list is offer great advice to your fellow PWers!  I got news...you are not perfect and NO ONE is expecting you to be!  Once I realized this for myself, I was a much happier person.  We like the imperfect you much more anyways! :-)

TK . . . I heard about that and I am so sorry. Keep your head up. I'm sure there is something much better out there waiting for you.

DB . . . Thank you so much. I did get rid of that "perfect" idea while in high school and I am so thankful for that. But I still get really hard on myself. Also, thank you. I know that many have gone through nursing school and if others can do it so can I. But they never mentioned the part about everyone feeling like idiots and feeling like they don't know what they're doing. Ha ha. I am trying so hard to be really confident and I think Im doing Alright for now. Thank you so much for all of your kind words. You ladies are fan-freaking-tastic! Thank you again!

Have a glass of wine (or 4) ...a hot bath ...a good long cry ... and then start fresh with a new day .... your not perfect ...none of us are .... we won't do everything right all the time .... and we really shouldn't want to because then you'll be expected to do everything perfect :)   ...... ((hugs))  ...women are always hard on themselves ... its one of our many gifts ....  :)
