Arrrrgggghhhhhhh

The in-laws are coming to visit for 10 days in September. I now have 6 months to dread their arrival and pray for their quick departure.
They are lovely people really, just not my type of people. They have no common sense, and talk behind people's backs (something that drives me CRAZY - and yes, I know that's exactly what I'm doing about them right now!! Lol). Seriously, it took almost 2 hours to book their flights, and they still aren't coming when they had agreed with FI so he is now going to have to use most of his vacation time from work on them instead of our plan to take our boys to DisneyWorld for the first time.

They suck.

:( That sounds very annoying, I'm sorry!!

I feel so mean because it will be nice for FI to show them our new house and take them into the mountains for a couple of days, hopefully they'll finally understand that moving to Canada was the right thing for us to do, but they are such hard work.
It's a real effort to have a conversation with them and FFIL is so fussy with food so trying to cook for him is a nightmare and going to a restaurant is awful!!

I'm still really upset with FMIL because of how she behaved when she was here last year, I'm not usually someone that holds grudges, but she made me soooo mad!!

I just have to keep smiling and remember that it is important to have them in our boy's lives!!

In a phrase - 'they suck'!   Funny!  

They sound a lot like, "I will do what I want and people will accommodate my behaviour".  Rude!!!!!!!

I can understand the hard work part.  Relationships that are hard work are mentally and emotionally draining.  It is exhausting!

I'm sorry. That is very rude of them to come when FI told them to come a different day and now he has to take his vacations days.
