I've had it!!! VENTING!!!!

I just totally blew up and got fed up with my FI's family and was a total biotch to her on the phone.  I feel like I just had my very first bridezilla moment!!!!  Here is the story:  His parents live in UK and I asked his dad to go get measured professionally at a local tux shop over there and then we will get it here to match.  WELL such a simple request turned into well I measured myself... and I asked him againa nd again to be re-measured by a professional well finally I get new measurements and now I find out that my MIL took the measurements!  What F*CKING part did they not get by a PROFESSIONAL!!!  I'm having the same issue with his cousins who live in Germany.  They didn't listen either and did it themselves off instructions on the internet.  Which were wrong and my dress people called me to tel me the measurements make no sense!  This is how al my FG dress problems started!  So now I'm screwed out of dresses.  And his mom thinks its funny lauging hahaha I measured him ... I just said well its not F*** funny and I threw the phone and FI and said loudly I had enough!!!!  He was great he stood up for me!  He then got hung up on!  But at least he's on my side.  I love my FI so much where would I be without his support!  Just needed to vent.  Thanks ladies!

Aw that sucks! But it is so sweet that your FI was there for you! People just dont understand. Hang in there hon! It will be worth it in the end. Hey if they dont want to get measured tell them they wont have any high position in the wedding. They should be listening to you on this. I basically told my family that if they wanted to do it their way than they can plan their own wedding, but with my wedding it will be my way. That is definitely not bridezilla either!

awww sorry hun.  just think, they're the ones who will have an ill fitting tux, and they have nobody to blame but themselves.  totally let fi deal with them.  sorry you have to go through this so close to the day!

That sucks ~ what a pain in the ass to have to deal with!  I think you should have HIM deal with them more, communicate with them, etc.  You need to remove yourself a little so this doesn't affect your inlaw relationship down the road...  Just a few more weeks- and you don't have to ask anyone for shit- thats what I keep telling myself anyway...
