I was driving past the new development where our house is going to be built, and remembered that I had to drop a cheque off to the office.
As we drove down the street I caught a glimpse of yellow on our plot of land....A DIGGER!!!

Our ground-breaking day was pushed back because of the insane cold weather last week, and we didn't knowmwhen they were going to be able to start it - apparently yesterday is the answer!!
My boys were so excited....roll on June! I want my house!!!

Exciting!!  The fun thing about building is watching your house come to fruition with little things like a digger.  Are you taking photos of the progress?

Fingers crossed that the rest of your construction stays on schedule so your possession date doesn't get postponed.  :)

We're taking pictures so we can make a scrapbook with the boys, because they're only 3 they probably won't remember it so I'm getting stage by stage shots...and some lovely ones of them getting all over excited about the construction vehicles!!

That's so exciting!  I would have probably let out a scream!  Can't wait to see pics!

I'll be taking them again next week, but the office called to tell me that they are pouring the concrete foundations for the basement today so we'll be able to see more than mud...and a hole!!!
