I understand how it can sometimes be in a bride's best interest to hear that sort of the thing from a consultant, but they are really just saying that to cover their a**.  I am now further inspired to keep at my own exercise plan!

I lost 18 lbs over several months after I got engaged.  I still have another 10 lbs to go to reach my ideal weight.  My dress went from not being able to zip up to now when I can so it up but it's still snug. 

I'm figuring that after I lose the next 10 lbs it will fit perfectly.  I will follow your plan of larger lunch, smaller dinner and cutting out all the sweets.
