My baby girl!

Millicent Regina was born at 7:27 pm on Friday, June 29th at 5 lbs., 8 oz and 18.5" long.

It wasn't the birth I wanted (induction ending with a c section) but it was what needed to happen for our daughter to arrive safely.  We just arrived home yesterday and are resting and getting to know each other :)

I'll post a birth story in a few days but wanted to share the good news and send good thoughts to all of you - I can't wait to "meet" all the new babies and hear updates from those of you that have your babies already!

It's hard when you don't get the birthing experience you had hold for (I had almost every medical intervention when having my twins!) but you are absolutely right, it meant that Millicent arrived safely.

I've been waiting for this post! While the beginning may not have been what you had hoped for..induction, csection...at the end of the day you got the happy ending we all hope for....she's here and most importantly she's safe :)
