Hello ladies! Our rehearsal is downtown, so we are looking for a reasonably priced location for our rehearsal dinner.  We didn't want our guests to drive too far so we wanted to stay in the downtown/midtown area for the rehearsal.  I'm not familiar with very many restaurants in that area.  Any suggestions?  Please help! :)

Any particular type of food you had in mind? These are around the 10.00 -12.00 range pp, let me know if you wanna go higher..

Here's a couple:

Kim Son

Pronto (Italian)

Tree Beards (Cajun, times vary by location)

Ruby Tequilas (Mexican)

...will come back later with more...

Yum...I agree with Treebeard's. Also, look into Cabo.

We had ours at Guadalajara downtown, and it was perfect.  It was reasonably priced, and everyone raved about the food.  The manager made sure everything ran smoothly and was extremely helpful--I gave him a price that I wanted to spend total, and he worked out a plan to get the most for our money.

Thanks!  I will look into those places.  Guadalajara downtown was on my list but they said that our table may not be ready when we arrive. The manager said that they have a nice lounge area upstairs where we can hang out until it was ready.  He also recommended fajitas to keep the price down.  Brittany, did you experience any issues with your guests waiting?  We are expecting about 25-30 people.

I ended up having 22 people, and he said the same thing to me, but when we arrived, the table was ready and waiting.  They even had a booth reserved right next to us for our BM/GM gifts.  :)  But, in the instance that you have to wait for them to finish setting up, the upstairs lounge is very nice and some of our guests ended up going up there after the dinner for more drinks.  We did queso as an appetizer, fajitas for dinner, and offered house margaritas and beer.  Everyone loved it and it was very affordable.

I love guadalajara!!! Fajitas are a great way to keep the price down and everyone can enjoy some margaritas while you wait for your table!  I always think mexican is a great rehearsal dinner option....you can make it super festive!!!! :)
