I have a ton of photos to share! Enjoy :)

Thyme, started from seed in late fall... It grows very slowly (at least for me):

Oregano (which started flower the day after this pic was taken). You can also see the seedlings of sage, and there are some teeeny tiny seedlings of a different variety of oregano in the same container (bottom left, can barely make them out):

I have a ton photo 1807427-2 I have a bunch of this oregano drying in the kitchen. It grows faster if you pinch it frequently for use in the kitchen :)

This is a pitiful photo of my rosemary shrub... Rosemary, as I found out in the fall, likes a certain kind of soil (lots of sand), and likes to be a little bit dry (since it originates in the Mediterranean region), so it gets it's own pot. It also HATES to be transplanted, so I'm hesitant to put it in the ground. But it is doing a lot better now than when I ran into the soil issues and had to re-pot it twice; and I have lots of cuttings drying in the kitchen:

Mint... This is a funny creature. It reacts differently each time there's a watering change, lighting change, etc. It can tolerate more shade than most of my plants. It also gets its own pot because it spreads under the soil and can take over entire beds of plants. If you put it in the ground, plant the pot and all so the roots can't spread too much. I just cut back a bunch of yellow leaves, and it's looking perky:

That's it for the herbs. My basil, parsely, and catnip seeds never germinated when I last planted (it got really hot, so I think that's what did it)... So, back to the drawing board with them. I'll post when I have some success there.

Now for the container veggies :) It's mainly tomatoes, which we love and eat daily.

These are my baby Beefmaster tomatoes... They'll get as big as 2 lbs each!! There are currently about 10 on the vine, some up to about 10 oz already :)

This is a watermelon vine. No fruit yet, but it is flowering. I potted it up (put it in a larger pot) the evening after I took this pic, but the roots still had plenty of room in the smaller pot. I can't believe how fast it's growing!

This is the one heirloom variety I've started this season. They're harder to keep alive because they're less pest-resistant than newer species. This one's called "Bradley." So far, so good. It's flowering, so should have some babies soon:

I forget this guy's name, but he's a cherry tomato variety. He's doing VERY well:

This is a green pepper plant that wasn't thriving. I wasn't sure why until I realized that the drainage was poor (the pot's drainage holes were plugged). So I drilled more holes in the pot and added some more rocks to the bottom to give it something to drain through. Hopefully it'll bounce back. The little seedling you see on the right is a zinnia, ready to go in the ground:

Well, that's it for now. I guess I didn't get a shot of my HUGE grape tomato plant. I'll catch that one next time around... It's also doing really well.

Thanks, ladies! I'm very proud of my plants... I really can't remember the last time one of my hobbies brought so much satisfaction. It's so fun!
