My strawberries have a friend:
He's always there, but he doesn't seem to eat the fruit (which is perfectly
intact). I guess he may nibble on the leaves, but I don't think he's a problem. Anybody know what kind of bug he is?
I have to say, the strawberries from this plant are some of the tastiest, juiciest berries I've ever tried. I got the seedling from a local organic market, and it was unmarked. I don't even know what the variety is.

And a bunch more aren't far behind!

This watermelon vine is getting kinda crowded and shaded by the squash, but it's thriving and flowering now, so I'm hopeful :)

So I know these tomatoes look like a mess, but they're properly spaced and thriving. Hopefully I'll still be able to reach the ripe ones in the middle of that mess when it's time!

Here's what they're doing right now:
They're "Red Beefsteak" tomatoes, so they should get quite large (12-16 oz.)
And then I have my green bell pepper plant, which is doing pretty well considering it's right next to (and sorta under) the giant zucchini... It even has a few blooms and tiny fruits!

Last, I'm going to share with all of you a cautionary tale... This is what happens when you play in the dirt:
LOL!
