Hello, can any one recommend indorr plants that can live with indirect light.  Our apartment gets lots of skylight but no direct sunshine. Would love to have some greenery indoors but not even sure where to start?  any suggestions or websites i can go to?  pictures would be great as well! Thanks!!!

Some really easy, low-requirement plants are pothos/heart-leaved philodendron, ficus, and chlorophytum (spider plant). I have some of these at home. I've also got African Violet (which likes a little more light and humidity) and some potted herbs in a windowsill. Can't have too many though, because my cat has a tendency to knock them over. If it wasn't for him, I'd have a lot more plants in the house because it really cheers things up.

My mom grew a TON of houseplants when I was little, and a lot of them are on this list: http://www.guide-to-houseplants.com/10-house-plants-you-cant-kill.html

I think the philodendron are the easiest for me to grow inside - I have a huge garden outside but inside very little besides the philodendron and herbs do well for me. I have a friend at work that has one of these in her office and there are no windows at all and it does great.

I think the philodendron photo 2921205-1
