Inspiration needed: Hair

Hey ladies! I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding this weekend and am struggling with how I should get my hair done. I know I want an up-do but want something a little different too. Any pictures would be great. TIA!

Yeah I believe so as long as it doesn't look too much like hers! My hair is very thin, straight, and medium length like a little past my shoulders.

Does it hold a curl? If so, some kind of soft, loose updo with curls would be great! I love anything on the side or with a little volume.
