Inspiration to NOT get a post-wedding chop!

So the plan was to cut & donate my hair after the wedding.  It's FREAKIN LONG.  I don't have the patience for it.  I don't have the time nor the will to care for it quite that much. 

So what do I find on (of course) Pinterest?  This crap!!

Sigh.  I will cut it.  Just maybe not until summer comes again.  :)

Gorgeous! I cut/layered my hair about a month ago, but my old hair would have been perfect for this. If only I knew then, haha.

8 hours too late!

My hair was bugging me so I got it cut! (I have zero patience for hair that drinks up my shampoo and takes too long to dry.) Those are pretty. :)

the things you can do with long hair is amazing!  I want to cut mine back off, but I can't do what I want to do with it for the hairstyle I want!  LOL

Sigh...I did not participate in the PW tradition of a post-wedding chop, as I knew I was in going to be in a wedding this year and I needed my hair to be long.  I will now have to wait until next year to get it cut because up here in the north, we have really cold winters and short hair will not make me happy.  LOL

That is a very good idea of donating it.  I am definitely going to keep this in mind.  : )

I'm certainly not going to do the post-wedding chop. I actually told FI about it and he said that he'd miss my long hair and that it almost feels like it'd almost be offensive towards him to cut my hair once we're married (Don't ask, he makes no sense sometimes)

I've cut my hair VERY short once before, and I love it long. It's pretty manageable since it's so thin but yes, I put my hair in a low french braid most everyday if I just don't feel like dealing with it and it works great! :)

I love the idea of donating it, however. And I'll do that once it gets long enough that I can get 4 inches off or so that it's still touching my bra band. Congrats on making the decision to keep your length and be adventurous with hairstyles!
