DH and I DTD on our first date.  I had known him a couple of days.  So far it's working for us.  :)

I know another couple that is married that DTD on their first date.  They've been married about 10 years.

I know lots of people it didn't work out for though.

We DTD on our 2nd date and we're now married and been together happily for almost 8 years!  I think it all depends on the individuals.
