Hi ladies..I was wondering if you could help me out here! I have a couple of questions about the wording on my invites!

1. If you have a wedding website where are you putting that info? I was going to put it on the bottom of the reception card saying: "For more information about Jack and Jill's wedding please visit "www.websitename.com" Does that work okay there??? Also, I'm a little rusty on punctuation should I insert a common after Jack and Jill's wedding before please visit?

2. Where are you girls putting your registry info? I wasn't sure if I was gonna put it on the invite maybe just on the website.

TIA!!!

I know for sure you are not suppose to put it on the invite or anywhere enclosed in the invite. It is okay for others to list it on invites for the bridal shower or engagement party, however the couple is never suppose to express the info directly. Guests should contact the MOB or MOH, or other members of the family that would know this info.
I am not totally sure what the protocal is on including the wedding website as an indirect way of letting guest see this info.

Is it okay to put a wedding website on an enclosure card? Like at the bottom of the reception card or directions card? We figured the website would give more info on directions and registry stuff but didn't know if and where to include it.

Thanks!

You can either put "For more information please vistit www.dghsjkfk.com"

My friend printed out a little business size card with her web address and just stuck them in her invitations...

On my bridal shower invites- at the very bottom I just put the website itself w/ no wording since they know about it and its a given...

I have also heard to only put your registry on your website. BUT some people could care less where it is- not everyone has wedding websites and into the new times of weddings. So I think it really depends on your styles/ guest... -and how proper you are, you know? I still get them with registry info.

I have pocket fold invitations I have one card with just "Additional Information" and I will put it there (I have seen registries in this section too)

We are doing online RSVPs at mywedding.com.

I'm including a business card sized enclosure with the URL and the # of guests they may RSVP for.

We put our website on the insert with the driving directions: "For additional details, please visit..." because that's where it made most sense, space-wise, on our invite sets. I think it would be fine on your reception card. :)

I think listing your registries on your website will be enough notice for your guests.

Thanks for all the help ladies! I just got off the phone with my coordinator and she said to make a seperate card for my website and to not put it on the direction or reception enclosure card. She aslo said that registries by WOM or website would be sufficient notice like chowbaby said.

Thanks again ladies! I just ordered the invites 650 bucks later! Geez that was hard!!!
