Hey Wendy, I can understand your stress. I called a ton of local printing shops to discuss invitations, but those people are crazy. They described this absolutely sadistic process of going out to the print shop, paying upwards of $25 to borrow a
binder full of stuff, taking the darn thing home, then going back to the print shop to return the book. I mean, really? Have you got some hoops I can jump through when I'm in the store, too?
So I wised up and decided to order online. This can be a real money-saver. Here's a little-known secret: your local print shops, they're just going to be ordering your stuff from someone else, too. Cut out all the middlemen.
Here's a link to the place I found. It's awesome! I picked out just what I wanted and asked them to send me a proof - which they did, for free. By getting a proof, you can judge the color and paper quality for yourself (which takes a
lot of the fear out of ordering something so important online). As to what sort of invitations you should order, I just stuck with my own wedding theme. My colors are green and silver, and I'm going with roses for all my floral stuff. So, my
invitations have silver roses and green ink and that's perfect for me. Anyway, maybe this vendor will help you out, too. Let me know how it goes!
