Is it the one?

So, I went to David's Bridal and had a ho-hum experience.

Here's the only dress I really liked. (Can you tell I was tired after working all day and trying on all these dresses?)

The service was sub-par, but the prices are oh so right!
While the other places wouldn't let me take pictures, I mostly tried on Maggie Sottero dresses. I really loved the people at Joanna's Bridal in Danville and this is where I think I found the dress I just have to have. Although, I think I would have it altered slightly to make it more of a mermaid shape. It has gorgeous, light beading and subtle lace. As the saleswoman said "it's classy, but with some spice." It's a perfect way to describe me! :)

Overall, today was a much better day of dress shopping. The free spa eye treatment (won at a bridal faire!) and lunch with my mom helped too!

I think you look lovely in the dress at Davids...but I also really like the 2nd dress....I dont think you can go wrong....

I think you might want to go a size down because the dress looks a little loose around the hip area.

You look great, but a piece of advice. Don't rush into anything your not sure of. There will always be another dress you love and you can find dresses at reasonable prices. Make sure you LOVE it, you just started looking.

Thanks all for your feedback! I'm really hunting for the Maggie dress, because it's more of the mermaid style that I wanted. I am reminding myself that a dress is just a dress, and that to spend so much on just it would be a little selfish... But just this morning my dad said if anything, I should splurge on the dress because I'm the bride aka the special one. He may be a bit biased!

It's nice but I'm not a fan of the top part of the dress. It's just too much fabric and makes you look a bit short. A sweetheart neckline with a mermaid style would look much better.

Maggie Sottero dresses are sooooooooo beautiful - and they are really a big hit here in Europe! I'm wearing a Linnea Rafaelli dress... my absolute favourite, I drove for 6 hours to buy it! Found it online, but had to see it and try it on before I bought it...It's not a cheap one - but it's the one that I want...and I'm only doing this once ;)
