Is your FI/DH romantic?

My answer:
Not really. He's really sweet and considerate, but not what you would call "romantic" like in the movies.

Not really. He used to be, but now we have a child who is 3. Therefore, we don't have a lot of time for romance.

My guy can be romantic, in a sweep-me-off-my-feet kind of way...for example booking a suprise weekend away in a B&B for us and arranging wine tasting and spa treatments.

But what I appreciate more is that he is sweet to me on a daily basis...making the morning coffee and bringing it to me just how I like it. Text messaging that he loves me and is thinking of me. Going out and putting gas in my car so I don't have to rush in the morning. Stuff like that. He is a very giving and considerate person.

Joe and I are not the most romantic people in the world. =) I must say that he treats me very well on a daily basis and I'm very thankful for his kindness. He does every-day things like today he came to my work and we had lunch together, and then took a walk together after lunch. =)

Not so much. . . I think he can be capable of it but he doesn't bother. Also, he is very busy. I think a lot of times I'm the one who plans things and he rather I be content with the plans and let me plan it rather than doing it himself and have me be disappointed. But a girl likes to be surprised sometimes!

But like Margaret said about Joe, my DH treats me well on a daily basis.

He's never really been a "romantic" guy the way you see in the movies. But he's very sweet and takes very good care of me. I will say, though, that the proposal was a big surprise and very romantic. So I guess he is when it counts =)

My fi sounds a lot like loridecters. I've dated a lot of over the top romantics and have found I am most compatible with someone like my fi.

We all sound like a lucky group of ladies.

I've never dated a "romantic" guy before and my DH is no exception. Maybe I'm not the typical romantic kind of person, I feel that big gestures are not necessary to have a great relationship and a great marriage. Like the pp's said, it's the little things that count. Then again, I wouldn't mind getting swept off my feet every once in awhile just for kicks. ;)

Yes. Very. But not over the top. Just little things he does once in a while make me appreciate him and fall in love just a little more ! ex: every night before we fall asleep, he thanks me for anything nice i did for him during the day. then i do the same. we've made it a daily habit. or he'll call me out of the blue at work just to say he loves me :)

My FI is not romantic.  But he's sweet and considerate and also treats me good on a daily basis.  But I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one without a romantic FI!
