I don't know how many times I've seen "SNEAK PEAK!" used across the internet, but it's incorrect and drives me crazy.

It's "PEEK!"

"SNEAK PEEK!"

NOT

"SNEAK PEAK!"

...unless you're talking about a sneaky mountaintop or something!

LOL I hear ya. I can understand why people do it--you get to thinking about how they sound alike so you're tempted to use the version that spells them alike, too, even though it's wrong.

Ones that drive me nuts (I see these on Craigslist ALL THE TIME):

Rod Iron or Rot Iron (it should be WROUGHT iron.)

Chester Drawers or Chest Drawers or Chester Draws... (Chest of Drawers, people!!)

For Sell or Need to Sale. (No... you NEED TO SELL something, so you are putting it up FOR SALE.)

There are so many phrases that people have only heard and never seen in writing, so they just don't know!

Wait...how about when it says SNEEK PEEK! Aaaaaugh!

Or chest of draws. What?

Haha love ya girls!
