So, I'm posting my sign-off three days before my wedding, as I'll be busy moving the last of my stuff tomorrow night and living it up with my ladies Friday night at my hen party. I have to say, while at times the days seemed to pass by so
slowly, the day has certainly come in a hurry. It seems like just yesterday I was over 200 days out, and boom, my day is here. Now I am here to offer my thanks.
First of all, to ALL the PW ladies, thank you so much for your encouragement,
advice, and laughs. It seems like the majority of my posts have started with the topic "AW: moore807's...", and I thank you for your patience with my little AW ways. I truly look forward to hearing the updates about your plans pre- and
post-wedding, and I'll try to comment as much as I can, when I can, because I know how much it meant to me to get advice or affirmation from all of you.
Secondly, to the soon-to-be-marrieds and ladies-in-waiting: your time will come sooner than you
think! I was a lady-in-waiting for nearly four years, and by the time I become a MRS, I will have waited 1 year, 3 months, 19 days, and 2 hours (476 days). Your day will come, and it will come quickly. But don't worry, because everything will work
out. You'll have hiccups along the way, but no matter what, your day will be beautiful.
Thirdly, I'd like to thank the PW hostess team for keeping us crazy ladies together and friendly. This place truly is a sisterhood, and I appreciate all
of your hard work.
Finally, I want to give a shout out to some very special ladies that have helped me so much in my wedding planning.
Timily--It was so awesome to watch all of your planning come together into such
a beautiful wedding. You and Tim are such an amazing couple (and a couple of nuts, but that's a good thing!), and everytime I think of Amanda Palmer's beautiful quote about the hope of a bride, I will think of the picture of you walking down the
street in your dress waving to someone. I appreciate your encouragement and excitement that you've shown on the boards and the inspiration you've provided as well.
Santosha--You are seriously one of the sweetest and most encouraging women I have met--EVER! I've loved the opulence of your wedding inspiration and how it's translating into your wedding reality. I can't wait to see how
gorgeous your day is going to be. Thank you for being so positive and giving encouragement along the way.
MademoiselleNicole--You are such a sweet, sweet woman, and I'm so happy to see your love story evolve and bloom. Before we really started speaking to one another on PW, I always thought of Grace Kelly when I saw your pictures
and posts. You are truly a class act, and your wedding is one that I cannot wait to see. Thank you for being wonderful you.
futurefunk--I don't get see you around the boards as much (I miss you!), but thank you so much for the advice you gave me concerning my make-up look. You were sweet, understanding, and one that got me hooked on Youtube
tutorials! I do hope that everything goes well with your wedding whenever you guys have it.
Elocha--My wonderful penpal! It's been so much fun chatting with you and keeping each other updated on what's going in our lives. I can't wait to see your whimsical wedding come together--you're going to be so stinkin'
cute!
ChancesAre--You're another one I haven't seen around much, but I did want to thank you. I've never been a bling girl whatsoever, maybe because I'm an introvert and bling just naturally attracts attention. However, your
inspirations made me see the beauty of bling and I feel like because of that, I can feel a little more comfortable letting myself shine.
Shawna_Marcus and rbh1000--MY DATE TWINS!!! I'm sure that both of you are feeling the same excitement I am; I have to admit, I was feeling a bit lonely not seeing any other March 10th ladies around, but I'm so glad the two of
you started posting. May these next few days be a blessing to you and filled with fun and excitement.
