Ivory Dress with a White Dress Shirt???

Do you think it will look bad if I'm wearing an ivory dress (actually a little closer to white than ivory) and my fiance' is wearing a suit with a white shirt/vest/tie? Has anyone done this and have pictures to show me of how it will look? I don't want my dress to look "dirty" when I'm standing next to him!

I don't think it's noticeable enough to look "dirty".

What color is his suit? My DH wore a white shirt and my dress is a light ivory.

For my e-photos, we had two outfit changes. The second outfit was our 'formal' wear.  I had a long satin gown on. He had his white shirt and threw a black vest and ivory tie on.  It matched.

Also, from our first e-session, I have an ivory wedding gown on and he's wearing a full suit ensemble with the white shirt along with an ivory vest and ivory tie. 

Both looks coordinated with my ivory dresses.  Both dresses were completely different styles.  One was slim fit mermaid silouette, and the other was a big ballgown.  He just needs one element of ivory to pull your looks together.

Not noticable at all. My dress color was Eggshell/ivory and DH's shirt was white! It photographed beautifully.

His suit is black. I think my dress is about the same color as yours. Your picture looks great! I LOVE your hair and flowers! Thanks for the info.

i wore an ivory dress and DH wore a white shirt.  i can't notice a difference in the colors in pics:

I never even thought of this but when I read your post I went and looked at some of our pics.  My dress was a champagne/ivory color and his shirt was white.  I don't think it looks bad at all :)

Thanks girls! I'm not worried about it at all anymore! I wouldn't have thought about it either, wildfirej29, except that my fiance' asked me if it would be noticeable. (He's weird about colors matching.)

It's perfectly fine. I actually thought the ivory shirts we looked at when we first thought about it looked dirty! So I wore ivory and he wore white :)

my dress is ivory and i think he will just wear a white shirt. FI asked me about that too! I hadn't really thought about it either
