i painted the "cake" baby pink; used sheer hot pink, white and sheer grape ribbon; 4 daisies and hot glued glass pebbles and "pearls" on the border...

i couldnt figure out what to put as the "cake topper" - maybe you can put a little framed pic of you and your new husband??? 

i still need to line the opening with larger pearls - i ran out of hot glue - i'll do that tomorrow

ok so i didnt post the end result...  i painted 2 hearts dark dark dark purple and then when that dried painted over it with hot pink glitter

then i got  "I DO" letters - painted thsoe white and then painted over that with the same hot pink glitter

also hot-glued clear purple flat-back pebbles - to kinda make it look like they're chewy gumdrops or soemthing....

i love it! good job miss diy queen!

marissa!!!!!!!!!!  the red bee will be my fave store i'm sure of it!!  i just picked ujp more artsy craftsy stuff i'll post later - not really wedd-related but i'm proud of my first attempt anyway

jen---> i cant wait til you get it!!  i really do hope yuou like it in person!  i packaged the heart topper and the wooden letters in a smaller box - i was scared if i glued the topper it may have gotten knocked loose in the shipping process... i  sent you the rest of the sheer hot pink and sheer grape ribbon, as well as the rest of the clear-grape glass pebbles...
