i'm having a hysteroscopy on the 13 of Nov....as opposed to laproscopy, which would involved scars and cutting through my stomach.....he will go in through the cervix and remove the polyps/fibroids (he won't know what they are until he gets in there)...then we have to wait 2 MONTHS more to heal before we can TTC again...and it sounds like he will put me on Clomid or something similar to speed things along....

while this all sounds horribly painful and adds more time to the process, I'm so glad you are able to actually do something to help yourself and your chances instead of worrying and wondering.  You've gotta be healthy for that baby when she or he does come.  will be thinking you

I'm glad you got a surgery date! I'm glad they opted for the less invasive surgery so you'll be back in action quicker :) There is light at the end of the tunnel to this whole ordeal! Now we can start the countdown to when the baby making will be underway!

Jackie we are here for you!!!! I  also had a non-invasive fibroid procedure done  in 2007 (uterine fibroid embolization) to deal with some nasty cysts/fibroids in my uterus. Since then, my fibroid symptoms have pretty much disappeared. I understand your concerns and your fears. Hang in there Jackie, only 2 months, 2 weeks left until TTC. That time will fly :)

It's wonderful to hear that they have a handle on what's going on, you're getting things fixed, and very shortly will be TTC again. Waiting is incredibly hard, but you're such a better place than before knowing all of this - like Aimee says, there's light at the end of the tunnel! Pretty soon that countdown will be the countdown for when your baby is due! Good luck hon!

Awww Jackie... I admire you for being so brave & positive.  I know you will be back ttc-ing in no time...
