Jillian Michaels question?

I'm going to go out and get the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred this week and I was wondering how often you are supposed to do it? I've read that some girls use it sporadically and some every day, so what does the video say to do?

the video doesn't tell you how often to do it...sorry!

When i did it i did it every day...but it definitely was tough!

i do it everyonce in a while when i don't want to leave the house to work out and i don't want to work out on the wii. But i know that people do, do it every day. My hairdresser though who did it everyday after i reccommened it to her ended up getting tendenitus in her wrist from all the push ups so if you have bad wrists i would take it slow. Good luck girl you are going to rock it with the 30 day shred!

I have to rotate, seriously, I have workout ADD.  So, I rotate between these workouts right now since mid February :

Jillian's No More Trouble Zones (45 min, K-I-L-L-E-R)

Jillians 30 Day Shred (moving up to level 2 this weekend)

Slim in 6 - I've always done the Burn It Up level (highest)

Cardio "dance" type: MTV's the Grind, Paula Abdul's Get up and Dance

The Firm  v2's (I can't stand the first Firms)

When it gets warmer, I alternate every other day riding my bike about 12 miles in an hour (lots of hills here!) and fast trail hiking with my two dogs.

I just cannot do the same work out each day or I won't put any intensity into it.  My mind wanders and I get lazy.  If I haven't done a certain DVD in a week or more, I'm less likely to cheat or be lax!

The video doesn't tell you, but I read somewhere that Jillian says you're not supposed to do it every single day.

When I was doing the 'Shred' my schedule was:

2 days of the 'Shred'

1 rest day

2 days of the 'Shred'

2 rest days

It worked great for me!

I just started the Shred.

@Rae: did you still lose weight and build muscle relatively quickly?

@Soon2B - with the 'Shred' schedule above (started out with Level 1 the first week and worked my way up to Level 3 about five weeks in) plus a healthy diet, I lost about 14 lbs in 10 weeks! Definitely got more toned in the process.
