Have you started planning the Honeymoon yet?  If so, where are you planning to go?

June is the start of hurricane season in the Caribbean so having a hard time picking a place.  definitely want to go somewhere tropical.

can you postpone the honeymoon until the fall? i came across the same problem. i don't think we'll travel in June or over the summer. thinking maybe in the fall or the winter. not very traditional but very practical

Agreed, I didn't realize the hurricane season was upon us so we had to plan our trip elsewhere. The budget bride's handbook had some comment about avoiding the ABC islands (Aruba, Bahamas and....?) because they're more frequently hit. Maybe asking around travel forums like trip advisor would help.

I'm definitely looking for an all inclusive type of package so either resort or cruise. 

So i checked some travel websites and it looks like Mexico isnt that bad in June/July.  There may be some rain but it typcially doesnt last long.

We're thinking the Zoetry resort in Rivera Maya.

we're going to aruba the monday after our saturday night wedding :)  bring it on hurricanes, nothin is stoppin me on this honeymoon!!

hmmm i don't know??? i wanted to go somewhere like the DR but i don't know! we need to get on that except we are so busy sending out checks for everything else!! lol

Were going to florida hurricane season doesnt really start till Aug there. Plus were going early june so we can deep sea fish its best around that time.

We were going to head to Disney Land :) But we're pushing our HM back to October.. Just decided.  It will give us more time to save, and now the weather will be nicer, everyone's back in school, etc etc. :)  Plus we hope to catch one of Ellen's tapings and she's off the air in June :(

We are going to bermuda right after our wedding (2hr flight!!) at the begining of June and then are doing our real honeymoon in 2011 in the Maldives (after monsoon season).  Aruba rarely has hurricanes since its very south, along with Barbados and Turks and Caicos.  June is also pretty early in hurricane season.  I think the west coast of Mexico would be fine also.
