A long way off still, but we now have less than one year till we start TTC! We are going to start trying next Halloween on our trip to Vegas!

I'm going to the OB-GYN next Friday, we just got health insurance so it's the first time in a while. Is it necessary that I tell her we plan on TTC this far out?

Is there anything I should be doing a year in advance?

Just the basics, eating healthy, trying to kick any bad habits that you might have, maintain a healthy weight, and it's NEVER to early to start making sure that you are getting enough folic acid.  And taking Pre-natals won't hurt either. 

I"d talk to your OB/GYN let her know what your plan is, talk about BC in the meantime, etc.

Congrats! We're starting TTC late spring!

We plan to start trying on our one year anniversay (April 4 or so). We are going to do one last big vacation. We are calling it our "baby making vacay" :)
