I just ordered a replica of the Alvina Valenta 9903. They were really quick to respond to my inquiry and to give me a quote. Hopefully everything goes smoothly! I still have PLENTY of time though, so if for some reason this doesn't work out, I can find another. BUT, I'm really hoping it does work out because I LOVE this dress.

Sigh. I was really hoping that they would finish it before the holiday, but alas, they are only on the lace stage, and they started their vacation today. Oh well, no big deal, haha. Anyway, here are the test dress pictures.

I got my dress today!! It looks GREAT! I love it! I tried it on, and almost all the measurements were perfect. The only issue is the bust and some puckering on the tummy. For some reason it is obnoxiously large. But the height, waist, hips, etc all fit great. The crystals are amazingly clear and sparkly, and the fabric is nice and thick. It does not feel cheap at all! So, here are some really crappy pictures until I can get it altered and take some better non-bathroom pictures, haha. Please excuse my dirty mirror and gross underarms (hence the little hearts, haha), how embarrassing. It definitely needs to be steamed and pressed; it really does come in a small bag!!
