Just signed up for WW

I'm not FAT...but have put on weight...and for some reason CANNOT motivate myself even tho my gut is growing lol..sooo i signed up for WW ..hoping it will keep me accountable for my eating AND my gym habits...here goes nothin!!!

WW is amazing!  You'll love it!  I was in the same boat as you--not fat, but not where I would like to be.  I lost weight so quickly and i thought it was fun!!!

wellll glad to know it helps...i plan to get my butt back to the gym too so i know that'll help...ive lost weight before n i can do it again! :)

You can do it again trueblue311. Weight watchers is great. The meetings is what helps me the most. One of the greatest things i have learned in the meeting is this saying i put in my head before i eat something bad.

 

-How am i going to feel an hour after eating this?

-How am i going to feel 2 hours after eating this?

-How am in going to feel the next day after eating this?

-How is the scale going to react tomorrow or the next day because of what i am eating?

 

Once you evaluate what you are eating it helps so much because somtimes you realize you weren't even that hungery to begin with.

I don't have time for the meetings...so I'm doing it online :)..the hardest part for me is gonna be going out..we're really busy and often are asked to go out with friends etc, etc...don't know how im gonna stay within the points when i go to Vegas next weekend :(

True-plan ahead! Think of the places you can go and research the types of choices can make. exercise when you can and plan on using extra points. Avoid buffets and just remember that you are making smart choices and that they affect your outcome! Even if you go over points, don't stress yourself out. make each meal a mini goal to stick with it! You can do it :)

WW is awesome for me.  I've always done the points method and it keeps me on track - when I'm doing it that is!  I joined Jan '04 and by Valentines of '05 I had lost almost 50 lbs.

Take it slow and do NOT expect more than 1 lb a week.

Going out is hard but the best way for me is to do the whole "When Harry Met Sally" thing and not be afraid to ask questions and make special requests of the kitchen. 

Eat a salad before every dinner if at all possible!  FF dressing and low fat protein if any on that salad - IOW, skip the croutons, bacon, cheese, and egg.

WW works.  That's why it's been around for so long!!!!!

ive gotta lose more than a lb a week..but after this week (gearing up for finals) i'm goin back to the gym at least 3 days a week...soooo the inches better come off faster between ww and the gym :)

I am officially 178 today. I need to be 155 by November 6th :)

its not HARD...just takes willpower...man i wanted some chili cheese fritos yesteday...but i resisted lol ya can do it dianalynn :)
