I haven't been on much the last few days.... well.... weeks!  The month has proven stressfull and overwhelming, but it's now behind me and I'm up early before our rehearsal... and getting married to my sweet TOMORROW!

Last night was the L A S T  N I G H T  that I slept next to my "boyfriend"/Fiance.... and the next time we lay down together will be as Husband and Wife.

WOW -----> Surreal.  

I wanted ALL OF YOU TO KNOW how eternally grateful I am to have found PW and all of my sisters on here.  I wish I had found you sooner (came around maybe 6 months in?).  You have brightened my world, made my planning smoother and more joyful.  You were there for me in the times of need (over the silly things, then onto some of the REAL drama in my life) and were there to cheer me on... and make me feel proud (all of my insane DIY Projects included).

I know many of the newlyweds stay on with PW long after their wedding... and while I know I was once addicted.... life took me away from you ... and my fear is that LIFE will once again take over and I'll dwindle from my visits.  I hope the friendships that I've made thus far will continue... and that they help me find the strength to face all the Brides to Be in helping THEM in their planning/process.

I'm starting to feel sad that it's over.  Not the wedding or the honeymoon -- but my time planning, scheming, shopping, spending, organizing, and the multi-tude of DIY (that I may not have ever done w/o many of my PW gals assistance!).  I'm starting to feel the emptiness that SURELY comes after the wedding when you've spend 14 months straight of your life thinking, sleeping, eating, drinking WEDDING.  I'm sure it's all perfectly normal.  But I'm still very sad nonetheless.

In attempt to put that saddness behind me... I'm about to make my last DIY -- chocolate lollipops and assorted throw chocolates for the candy bar and Rehearsal Lunch (in just a few hours).  And I will think of MANY of you with each step I take.  

That said.... My hope and WISH is that all my date twins (or close to it) and other future brides have... 

Limited (or no!) drama

Dry weather

Helpful vendors

Non-Schizophrenic Venue owners (more on that after the wedding)

and 

Loving arms around them.... to help with their bustle, carrying all their shite and dry their own tears of joy!

and For those still in the planning process (Or have a while to go)... TAKE YOUR TIME.  HAVE FUN WITH IT all (even when things are stressful or don't go your way -- remember that it'll pass, and just be a memory in the near future).  Get creative and let the other PW gals help you out!  And best of all -- spend time with your FI during the process.  Get him INVOLVED.  You'll feel more like a Team leading up to your big day... and HE WILL appreciate all the hard work (and planning) that you did more than you can ever imagine.  

Also... take pics of you doing your DIYs.  Take pics of you and your FI Or friends.  Just document it ALL.  Cus before you know it... it's over.  The big day is here for you to marry your sweet... and the planning is gone -- and you're left with (hopefully) an amazing wedding day to never forget.

I too am very excited for you.  I loved how you used the word scheming. lol. I feel the same way you do about PW.  I was telling FI about how sad I would feel after all of the planning too and my wedding is not until 2012.  He says that there is the house and the babies I can start to plan for.  This made me feel better.  I hope that your special day is as special as your have always imagined it to be and more.  Sending lots of happy wishes.
