Hey everyone I have a really tight budget I'm trying to keep everything under 3,000.00 and I was hoping to keep the venue and food down to like 1500-2000 I don't expect much for that though.

we found a venue early on thats a church hall they only charge 250 for the rental and are giving me alot of le-way I can set up in advance and have the church for how long I like. It includes round tables and chairs (although metal beat up fold up type) and a full kitchen but the place is a bit school gym looking.

I was cool with it and pysched to score a great deal and the church is really good people but my family is constantly asking me to look around saying the cost of decoration, covering the chairs and catering will be too high. They also worry it'll be too much work day of for everyone. so I checked some other places in my area (i'm north east of philly) but every place wants to charge 40-80 per person and theres not really any resurants around here with the exception of the chain type (I don't want an olive garden wedding xD) It's a small wedding only 40-50 people, what do you guys think keep looking or make it work?

I think you can make it work. Also, are you into the idea of an outdoor wedding?

Honestly, with a super budget, all-inclusive venues are often out. So hire a day-of coordinator or have a friend act as one and put it all together! It'll be great!

I actually always wanted a park wedding but were getting married the week before Christmas so it'll be way too cold. But thanks for the suggestion :)
