We have whirlpool gold appliances- gas cook top, double wall ovens, dishwasher, microwave, and French door fridge. We only got to pick our fridge and happened to buy the same brand as our other appliances. Our dishwasher is very quiet, which is nice. I love the high end stuff, but I'm not sure that a Viking range would fit in our kitchen without having to reconfigure or lose cabinets. The cost also is a reason that would make us think twice. I'm guessing that replacing all of our appliances would run us at least 5k because our fridge alone was almost 2k and double ovens are like $1500-2000. I wouldn't have been able to justify spending our whole budget on a range especially when we had other new house expenses. I say get the stuff you want because you won't regret having a nice kitchen.
