KNWR: Husband's Wedding Ring

I've been noticing my husband's wedding ring on his finger a lot lately.  I will catch myself looking at it and it just makes me so happy.  I'm actually even a little teary eyed typing this. 

The other day he was adding windshield washer fluid to my car and I was standing watching him through the windshield and his ring was such a beautiful contrast to the mechanics of a car.  I thought what an odd time to notice such a thing, but his ring was just striking.

When I was watching him and seeing his ring shine like it was, I swear I could feel my heart moving in my chest.  I just had this strong sense of peace and contentment.  

Does this happen to you? 

To those not yet married, I hope you find the same moments of contentment and peace when that ring is on his finger.  It's a precious feeling. 

Oh my, I'm so glad I'm not alone... I get like that too... There's just something about him wearing his ring!!

After 20 years of marriage Mark and I still look at each other's wedding rings and hold and touch them. It really is a strong symbol of the ties that bind.

I do hope that everyone finds these little moments because they have seemed to help me through the really big hurdles.

DH's ring catches my eye all the time!

Here too.  There are many times where I find myself just staring at when he is doing things and I have the biggest smile on my face!

Love seeing that ring on hubbys finger! He doesn't wear it but only when we go out because of work. I dont want his finger to get chopped off!

Oh my God that is amazing we all have these moments! Tammy I feel exactly the same way! I always catch myself looking at it while he's driving on when he's holding my hand. He is so proud to wear and happy to be married that it makes my heart swell. So happy you did this post!

My heart goes pitter patter at the sight of that ring on my fiance's finger... but since we're not actually married yet, I don't get to see it very often.  One night I came downstairs and he was sitting on the couch watching TV.  After I'd been sitting there for about a half hour, he reached over and grabbed my hand and that's when I noticed the ring on his finger.  I said "what are you doing with that ring?" and he said "I just wanted to wear it for a little while... trying to get used to it."  :)
