So I have very perky boobs (probably not for too much longer anymore lol) and never wear a bra when I am at home. I just feel like they do not need the support.

Well I am 19 weeks and started noticing these round, wet spots on my shirts. For some reason I am leaking this clear liquid. I mean I have heard of it, I am just not sure what it is exactly. It is only about a dime size at a time and happens about 3-4 times a day or when I am doing something and apply pressure to my boobs.

Well whenever I squeeze the nipple some white stuff comes out too. What the heck is that?? I mean no way is it milk right? That is not supposed to happen until after the baby is born.

This whole leaking thing makes no sense because my boobs have not increased in size at all (all my bras still fit the same) and they do not feel heavy or full.

So now today I started wearing my bra :/  Luckily I have a sample of those absorbent nursing pads for nursing moms. Now I have to buy some more.

How many weeks were you when this happened? Also when did your boobs increase in size?

Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, I was around 20 weeks when it started. I think it's more common near the end of pregnancy, but it's just colostrum - nothing to worry about!!

I was a wonderfully pert 34C before I was pregnant, then flew up to a DD (it felt like it happened overnight!) when I was about 12 weeks from what I can remember - I know it was right around the time that we started telling people - I'm now back to a C cup.....just not as wonderful and firm :(

I knew they were gonna leak, but I figured it would be much later :/  Yours went up to DD at 12 weeks? Wow. I wonder when it will happen to me. So far no changes in size at all. Just the annoying leaking...

I had twins though, so I don't know if that made a difference, my friend who was pregnant at the same time didn't have any change until after she had her son

I just started leaking at 28 weeks.  But I've also grown 2 cup sizes.  I went from a C cup to a DD cup in a matter of 4 months.  The leaking is just colostrum and it's totally normal for this to happen even in the first trimester.  It's sort of a syrupy consistency and can range from clear to a bright yellow in color.  (Can you tell I googled like crazy with this? haha)

Legentry- yeah I knew of colostrum, but I had no idea it could be any other color than clear :P  Thank you for the google research ;)  I try to stay away from it if at all possible. Somehow I always end up scaring the crap out of myself with the info I find...lol             Somehow no matter what I google, someone, somewhere claims it is the beginning of early labor and has a scary story to go with that claim. I swear.

I was so surprised that I am leaking already. I figured they would grow before it happens, but nope the size is exactly the same. I will probably wake up in a few weeks and not fit into my bras anymore haha.

Yeah Google can be scary sometimes.  I know exactly what you mean.

I found it in some of my preggo books too so that helped me separate truth from fiction.  But apparently leaking is a good sign that everything is in working order. :)

And consider yourself lucky if yours don't grow.  I always wanted big boobs...until I found out how flipping painful these suckers are!

Ahh I know :( I remember my poor sister crying from pain when she was breastfeeding. She never gave up because she knew it was just a matter of getting through the first week pain hump, but man I felt bad for her. She said that they fill up so suddenly and so much, that they feel like someone tied stone weights to them and they are about to fall off lol... I am not really looking forward to that at all, but I am glad I know what is coming. Breastfeeding is VERY important to me.

Get a pump!! I was never warned about when the milk comes in and it's not feeding time!! OMG it is the weirdest feeling - its seriously feels like your boobs are going to pop! Lol

I got a pump and froze anything I pumped which was really handy for when we went out & had a babysitter
