I was talking to my mom today about bil is only using glass bottles and I want to use plastic. My said I need to use glass or playtex plastic liners, but not plastic bottles. I explained there are bpa free bottles on the market today but she still thinks I should use glass. The problem I have with glass is the fear of dropping/breaking, cost, and glass chips in the bottle. Not sure how well glass bottles work with those electric bottle warmers too? My mom said at her daycare they mostly use liners because they try to avoid doing heavy washing. I thought even with bpa free that plastic is still safe. What brand of bottles will you be using?

We used Dr.Brown's plastic bottles for DS and I plan on using them again with the new LO.  I'm pretty sure they are bpa free.

I used the Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles. They are BPA free and both my boys had no problem using them while still breast feeding

I considered glass bottles but DH wasn't a huge fan since I can be pretty clumsy. I believe we are leaning towards the Advent bpa free bottles.

I didn't even think about the risk of breaking glass bottles, but looking back at when we used them I dropped so many that I would have spent a fortune replacing them!! Lol. The joy of being a really tired new parent!

We use Playtex Ventaire in the very beginning and now we still use the Ventaire bottles as well as the Avent use too.

I hadn't even considered glass bottles.  I had only considered avent or dr. brown's.

I would suggest buying a mixture to try and find out what you like best and what Lo likes best.
