::: Light Bulb Moment!! :::

Ladies it just hit me.  Instead of paying $20,000 for a huge wedding where I'll be too overwhelmed to take it all in we'll just save up a few grand and elope!  I can still have the country rustic theme as far as my dress and boots and birdcage veil.  But I'll get to plan something super-romantic for me and my hunny too!

I went once as a kid but I loved it.  I'd love to go back because I don't remember all the details.  I just remember staring up this huge tree and the teddy bear keychain I got at the gift shop :)

While I did not elope it was not far from it. I planned my event in 2 weeks and we only had 3 friends present and immediate family. It was all DIY.

I think when you know it's right for you, it's right! I didn't do it, my family would have killed me if I denied them the chance for a communal weepfest :) but I like the idea!

I'm so inspired now.  It's perfect for us because we're this perfect machine when we're together.  We're such a good team and he helps me out with evERYthing around the house when he's here.  Plus ' relationship is a little strained right now so,  I think this will be less of an ordeal for them so to speak.  I'm a romance addict though so I'd probably pick to elope anyway. lol
