Hi we were married in October and I'm having a really bad week, my husband has two teenage girls, 13 and 15, that were never taught to pick up anything or clean anything in their life.  I'm trying to teach them, but we often hear no as an answer to our request for help!  How do you moms handle all of this and are there any books on raising teenagers? Thanks!

talk to their father to start with....he is the one responsible for their kids.

teach them by being a model.i moved to my hubby house but his brother was living with us coz they planned to moved to bay area..so they have to save money..im not proud of them..my bro in law is a hoarder..really but i show them that im a role model and just do my own stuff..and i think theyre learning..
