it can get interesting sometimes. it's like it doesn't occur to him to tell his friends that have never met me before that I'm deaf. mostly because i talk just like normal, but i don't understand everything. one of his friends i met, but i couldn't understand him, and i was like uhm just so you know i'm deaf. he was like OOOH! it never occurs to fi either!

i think its the whole thing that its not different or unusal to me so i dont think to even mention it to others

like for me i dont even think about the fact that he is black , its like drinking water , just part of my life

so why would i think to broad cast it lol

no i agree. it doesn't really occur to me that my fi is cuban/black. hence, i forget to mention it too! hahaha!

I get that all the time!

I never mention to anyone that FI's Filipinio ever, when they see pictures of him or if they happen to catch me making fun of FMIL then I'll tell them but other than that I don't. They'll figure it out when they meet him! LOL!

I never think about it either.  Never even crosses my mind.  We meet with our Pastor tomorrow and I didnt tell him we are an interracial couple.  I am from a VERY white town and so is the Pastor.  He might be a bit shocked!

I never think to mention it, cause I feel like it shouldn't matter.
