The BEST advice/inspiration I ever got:
NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS.
After DH and I got married, I gained weight and got up to 194. I felt like crap, it was hard for me to get our of my car (celica, lowww car), I hated how I looked, etc.
Sooooooo I decided to change. Period. I lost 37 lbs in about.. 9 months, and kept it off that next summer, while we did a TON of hiking. (Summer 2010) Since then, I'd gained about 10 pounds back, and now am back on track losing
again. My goal is to lose 50 lbs total, and I've only got 19 more :)
Here's some befores and "during" pics - I'm around 160 now again.

:) YOU CAN DO IT, just set your mind to it and get it done.
I will say this, that helped me too: losing weight WILL BE HARDER than you expect.. it takes a LOT of work and dedication, but once you figure it out and start losing, it's really really worth it!!!
