So I have really let myself go, and I want to get back to my pre FI/college weight lol. My goal is to lose 26 lbs. before I go buy my dress. I have recently stopped drinking soda and I am more conscious of what I am eating. I bought 30 day shred which I plan on doing six days a week. I also am taking an hour long yoga/pilates class two times a week. I also take my dog for a thirty minute walk once a day. I posted this here so I could have your ladies encouragement, FI loves me the way I am and he is no help in helping me keep on track. So messages and comments and reminders are really appreciated :)

You can do it girl!!! I have 30-Day shred as well (man I hurt the first week!) and I am doing Weight Watchers.  In one week I lost 3 pounds.  It is literally about having an active lifestyle and eating right.  Instead of snacking on 100 calorie packets, eat fruit or veggies instead, they are healthier for you and stay with you longer!!  My goal is to lose 20 pounds, so I have 17 more to go!!

I am just starting out....plan is to lose the 15-20 lbs that I put on after moving to a new state this summer!

I am doing this with 3 other people and we are going to do a 6 week check in! We set a couple of guidelines: 1. Limited to 1 soda or wine a week, 2. no eating after 8pm, 3. must drink 64 oz of water a day, 4. no cookies, chips, ice cream, etc. 5. must work out a min of 3-60 min sessions a week

Check out myfitnesspal.com, it's good for accountability and motivation!

Also, I'm scared to death of 30 day shred, did it and almost died, so I wish you the best of luck!

I need motovation too. When I am good I am very good! However recently....umm thats another story! lol. I have lost about a stone and a bit, but it's slowly creeping back on :( obviously with christmas coming I dont expect much, but I WILLbe getting back to the gym, but it would be good to speak to someone who is going through the same thing :)

Every one of us needs motivation and we all can do whatever it is we need to. Picture yourself in that dress and walking down that aisle everytime you hit a road block! I have 50 pounds to go and that's the one thing that keeps me in line! Good luck and keep up the good work all of you!

The BEST advice/inspiration I ever got:

NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS.

After DH and I got married, I gained weight and got up to 194.  I felt like crap, it was hard for me to get our of my car (celica, lowww car), I hated how I looked, etc.

Sooooooo I decided to change. Period.  I lost 37 lbs in about.. 9 months, and kept it off that next summer, while we did a TON of hiking.  (Summer 2010) Since then, I'd gained about 10 pounds back, and now am back on track losing again.  My goal is to lose 50 lbs total, and I've only got 19 more :)

Here's some befores and "during" pics - I'm around 160 now again.

:)  YOU CAN DO IT, just set your mind to it and get it done.

I will say this, that helped me too: losing weight WILL BE HARDER than you expect.. it takes a LOT of work and dedication, but once you figure it out and start losing, it's really really worth it!!!

You ladies can do it, just stay focused and committed. It definitely requires some lifestyle changes, better eating habits and workout. A buddy system like apm2012 did. Congrats GoingtobeGoff!
