Love Birds -vs- Angry Birds

So the usual suspect is offended because our entire family has been invited to the wedding I am in.........however it's adults only. Instead of gracefully responding she flew off the ledge in protest and vows to make sure habibi's brother (((her captive slave "fiancé"))) will not attend as well. Do you think she was justified in both her reaction AND response?

A couple haw the rigth to say it's adults only. If someone can't make it, thats fine but they should not be rude.

Well she also said she's not going to any wedding unless it is her own. She is also known to be upset if she isn't the center of attention. I don't see the lack of children as a problem. We don't have any children ourselves, but someone who does might see it as "Adult Time".

Well, it is fine to say no kids, and her reaction rude, but she also has the right to feel that she should not be at home alone so her fiance can attend and she cannot.

Can you help her to find child care? Can you suggest someone she can hire to stay at the hotel with the kids?

I think if you stay rationale she will be the only one to look foolish. Try and be supportive, but do not change your mind as to adults only.

When we renewed our vows I wanted kids because I wanted the kids to see marriages can work in the day when divorce rates are so high.

Well she's done this at another wedding. Same reaction. This time the only difference is that habibi & our brother were also asked to be groomsmen. He knows how she is......a jealous person. She's said she isn't going to another wedding except her own. She's holding true to her oath......
