Low/No Carb Plans

Anyone losing weight on low carb plans?  I'm thinking about starting one Monday!  Would love to chat/share recipes ideas.

No plan in specific. However, I would love to slowly but surely decrease my carb intake (Im a rice fiend!).

In my experience in the past, low-carb diets are temporary-quick-way to lose a few pounds.

My only advice would be No carbs for dinner, it makes a huge difference.

Exactly! I try to not have carbs for dinner.

I do need them in the morning to get going and have energy for the day but in the evening, the only carbs I eat are fruit. (Which isn't ideal, I know, but if having an apple prevents me from giving in on my chocolate cravings, I'll do it.)

I tried Keto (less than 20g/day) for a couple of weeks and thought I was going to die.  lol  It was great because my body loves protein and you had to eat a lot of protein, but the drastic decrease in carbs left me with "Keto flu"  i.e. feeling like garbage.

So, I would suggest slowly decreasing your intake and being careful of "hidden" carbs.  It's about blood glucose level management, so depending on your body's chemistry, sometimes even "non-impact carbs" WILL cause a glucose response, therefore kicking you out of ketosis, and therefore reverting back to storing carbs as fat.
