Ever hear a song and particular lyrics just bug you ????

This happens to me all the time ....  A few examples

Mariah Carey's  "Obsessed"

"Seeing right through you like your bathin' in Windex"  -  HUH??

This doesn't even make sense -  bathing in Windex  doesn't make a person see - through .... this is NOT a clever analogy  -  The whole song makes me cringe but those lyrics are especially dumb

Another one -  Britney's  "1..2..3"

"1..2..3  Peter Paul and Mary"

Peter Paul and Mary??  -  WHY?   ... just because it rhymes?  .... WOW

Peter Paul and Mary have nothing to do with anything related to this song .... weird

I guess Britney's trying to say that Peter, Paul, and Mary had a threesome. I don't know. lol

In general, I hate when people use horrible grammar in song. Like T-Pain's "Buy U A Drank". This just encourages bad grammar in every day life and I hate bad grammar! lol

LOL Niecy, my best friend and I were also trying to figure out what Peter, Paul and Mary had to do with Brittney's dirty threesome!

or how about "You're so beautiful girl, you make me suicidal."

WTF?!

I know right?   .... how is being beautiful enough to cause a suicide a good thing ...LOL

I also hate remakes of really good songs into shitty pop tunes - "you spin my head right baby right round, when you go down, when you go down."

I think if I was the original lyricist, I'd die before I sold out to have my words changed in that way!

Yeah that song sucks .... but Im a fan of the original ...

crappy remakes suck!

I hate when you can predict what they are going to say, and its your 1st time hearing the song..

Yes kd -  clear indication of a poorly written song
