Ughhhhhh now I know what some of you girls have been going through. I feel sick on and off all day long ever since I hit about 7 1/2 weeks HELP! I haven't thrown up yet but feel like I want to. I almost feel the worst in the am and the pm. The worst thing is I am a teacher of 23 little 3rd graders so I have to be "ON" all day long. Don't know how I am going to make it. I've tried eating little meals (but I am getting sick of eating because nothing sounds appetizing right now). I have tried these wrist bands. I have tried preggy drops (that might work a little). Does it really take til the 12th week to stop this feeling?!? This sucks.

Its like I cant even get too excited about the baby because I just feel so horrible. I hope this feeling changes ASAP!

I posted a reply in the Winter group but after reading this I forgot something :)

At first I fought throwing up because I read it made it worse, finally after feeling awful all day I gave in and just puked...I felt SOOOOOO much better!  I don't know if it was the stress of trying not to throw up or what but after that my m/s got 75% better.  Not sure if that will work for you but it did for me :)

Yea mornings were awful! I would be almost ready for work and bam I get that sick icky feeling! I'd get sick, lay down for a couple minutes and then felt fine :-) Hoping you start to feel better!

For me I eat almonds or crackers in bed when my alarm goes off and I drink some water.  That's helped my m/s in the morning.  I also try to nap during my lunch/conference period and that usually helps me get through dinner time.  Some days are definitely better than others though.  Spearmint gum has been a savior and sometimes i'll sip on a coke and that helps for some reason...but I never drink an entire soda...I usually order a kids drink and never finish it.  It's just the few sips that I enjoy.

Also...I bought a package of peppermints yesterday at Kroger and they've been a life saver this morning!!! :)

Oh man. I TOTALLY understand! It's AWFUL. I was sick ALL DAY LONG. No relief. I tried EVERYTHING (except the bands...I could never find somewhere that sold them). I tried sour candies/freezer pops, sour lemonade (which helped a tiny bit), small meals, crackers, preggie pops, jolly ranchers, vitamin b-6, zofran. Almost everything. The only thing that seemed to help me was Hot Dill Pickles. And they would only help while I was eating them. As soon as I stopped, BAM! Nausea. It was HORRIBLE. Also, sipping on lemonade (Simply Lemonade is the only one that would halt the nausea while I was drinking it) and sleep. Zofran helped a little bit also but that's like last resort. That's it. The damn nausea started around week 6, lasted until about week 12. Now I get nauseated sometimes but it still lasts a LONG time with no relief. I'm 15w4d and I've been feeling that sick feeling for the past few days. It S.U.C.K.S. So overall, I have no advice. LOL! Sorry you're not feeling well. Just try different things. Maybe something will work for you!

BTW...I WISH I could have thrown up! That, I think, would have helped. But I hardly EVER throw up (even with food poisioning) so I would have to force myself to, and I can't even do that (it never works when I try)! So overall....it sucks.

I know I will regret typing these words but I wish I had a bit of morning sickness! I'm still very early along (5w3d) but I feel like it would give me some piece of mind, kwim? It seems all of my previous symptoms have gone away and I don't like it!

I hope you don't feel sick for too long!! xoxo

Kleah just enjoy it. I swear I felt the same week 6 and 7. I didn't feel pregnant. But week 8 hit and in full force. Consider yourself fortunate for feeling so great and hopefully it stays that way. You can still have a perfectly healthy without the nausea. :)
