Makeup Artist

Hi! A friend recently offered to do my makeup the day of my wedding for free! I am so happy she is doing this buthow much do i give her for appreciation? I am asking because I am also trying to keep costs down.

How much did you pay yoru makeup artist the day of your wedding?

What about buying her a gift cert to Sephora, or if you are low on funds Dunkin Donuts? I know I love those gift certs. Even $5 buys a lot there!

I know that MUA start at $50 and go up depending on travel number of people being done etc.

Is she a MUA? I like the gift card idea. As for how much, that really all depends on how much you want to give her. Maybe a $25 gift card somewhere. Is she doing anybody else's makeup the day of?

=) Let us know where you got the Gift Cert for. I am not up on all the stores anymore. (Lives in Never heard of it town, New Hampshire) I am always looking for inspiration.

I paid $45 for my trial and nothing for the day of. I think the gift card idea is great!  :)
