Hey gals, I just got the disc of my b-pic images and am ready to start my book. If you have finished your book, what program did you use and what'd you think? Post pics if you can! :)

I used Shutterfly and was happy with it! I liked the leather cover with the "peep-hole" picture cut out on the front. I put a pic of just my legs with my pink heels on the front page so it showed through the hole on the cover. It was really easy to do too....

I used www.picaboo.com. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Later I found out about www.blurb.com and realized I could have saved money without sacraficing quality.

I used the image wrap feature for the cover. The background color of the cover and all the pages inside are black. I used this image for the front cover:

So you think maybe blurb may be a good idea? I like the idea of a wrap around pic.

Blurb is good...their quality is great! They have a little less image layouts than picaboo, but the price is much better. For a 10x8 hard cover book (with image wrap) is $31.95 for up to 40 pages. I spent over $40 for only 20 pages.

I did our photo guestbook with blurb. It turned out great! I ordered last sunday and it arrived thursday...that was their standard shipping. That book, I did the dust jacket. It also looks amazing!

I've made books with Picaboo and Blurb and I thought quality was awesome for both. I agree that Picaboo has a much larger variety of layouts, but Blurb's prices are the best. I'll most likely use Blurb for my b-pic book.

If you have a program that will allow you to move photos around, you can create your own layout and then load it into Blurb as one giant .jpg. I did this for a photobook documenting my godson's first 2 years. I wanted to use fun backgrounds that Blurb just didn't have.

Nic, awesome images! Very sexy. BTW, where did you ge that garter belt? I've been looking for a lacy one like that.

See I used mypublisher for our guestbook and I loved it because the pages were so thick. But they also seem to be just about the most expensive... I don't want a big book either and MP doesn't have a lot a variety size wise. So Im thinking maybe using Blurb? I just don't want super thin pages...
