Hi,
I would totally recommend she stay as an engineer if she can handle it. My roommate was a civil engineer and my fiance was a computer engineer and they both make over twice what I make (paralegal until law school). I may be overstepping my
bounds here, but I would suggest she think long and hard about getting into a new major. The sociology majors I knew had a hard time getting summer jobs and jobs after school, but that is just from my experience.
Princeton does give you great connections, the thing is, you need to take advantage of the connections, they don't just hand themselves to you. It helped me get my jobs all through school and now at the law firm I am with. The best thing is, no
one can ever take away that degree, you will be a Princeton grad your whole life.
She should totally do Naacho, I had friends who did it and it was really cool. The nice thing about Pton is that there are TONS of opportunities to join clubs and do sports and a million other things.
It is funny you went to USC, I am from SoCal and basically my entire high school goes to USC for college. What do you do in NYC? (That should be one of the questions on the introduction post- what you do for a living)
